# Creating an assignment {% embed url="" %} The classroom admin can create an assignment using the **Add assignment** button in the classroom>assignment tab.
The admin can add the title, description for the assignment add attachments. The admin has to input the submission deadline which will determine the time till when the students/members can submit the assignment. There is also an option “**Late submission**” which when checked allows members to submit the deadline even when the deadline is passed.
“**Allowed file extension**” determines the file type which will be accepted on assignment submission. The admin can select multiple file formats also (example: pdf, zip,Docx etc). Assignments can also be assigned team wise. Admin can select to which teams the assignment will be assigned by enabling “**Team assignment**”
