Discord integration
Discord is a free voice, video, and text chat app that's used by tens of millions of people ages 13+ to talk and hang out with their communities and friends. People use Discord daily to talk about many things, ranging from art projects and family trips to homework and mental health support. It's a home for communities of any size, but it's most widely used by small and active groups of people who talk regularly.
Follow the below steps to integrate discord in your classroom -
Navigate to https://discord.com/channels/@me
Select a server from the very left column of the screen.
If you have not created a server yet, create a new one by clicking on the plus sign (add a server) in the same column.
In the next step, click on the ‘v’ button just right to your server name in the second column from the left and select ‘server settings
Then, select ‘Integrations’ from the left column.
Now navigate to the ‘Webhooks’ section and click on ‘View Webhooks’.
Now click on the ‘New Webhook’ button.
In the next step, select the channel from the dropdown whose webhook is needed and click on the ‘Copy Webhook URL’ button.
Navigate to the app extension section of the classroom and click on the “Add to classroom” button against the Discord app
Paste the copied Webhook URL and click on add button
